The Wood Harvesting Process
Tonewoods are sourced through a combination of carefully selected suppliers and wood harvested on Zarum-owned property, then processed, dried, and aged in a purpose-built kiln before use.
Material Stewardship
This process reflects a long-term commitment to material stewardship — sourcing, harvesting, and preparing wood with patience, respect, and an understanding that quality begins long before making.
Before sound and form emerge, the material is selected, milled, dried, and rested under long-term observation. This extended preparation allows the wood to reveal its stability, character, and voice.
